The blue-haired dancer once caused a stir on social media when she declared a #MoonchildChallenge inspired by her b00ty in twerk mode.

A few days ago, Moonchild took to Twitter to show her fans and followers yet another exotic experiment with her beloved b00ty. She shared a short clip of her booty getting drenched in Yogi Sip.

The PE-born artist went on to let everybody know that she’s not about to quit posting her bum anytime soon.

Many of her followers were extremely pleased by Moonchild’s commitment. One particular follower expressed his love for the way the blue-haired dancer is just so comfortable in her skin.

28-year-old mother of three convicted of drug peddling in Cross River

A Federal High Court sitting in Calabar, Cross River State has convicted a 28-year-old mother of three for dealing on cannabis Sativa.

Justice Simon Amobeda while convicting the accused, said she had pleaded guilty.

She was then sentenced for one month without option of fine.

The sentence is to take effect from the day she was arrested. She was arrested on September 12, 2019 with 200 grams of the item.

The Judge disclosed that her husband abandoned her.

A senior lawyer, Attah Ochinke who was a former attorney general and Commissioner for Justice in the State pleaded on behalf of the accused.

“If the court commits her to prison for two months, what will happen to her three children? She needs to be reformed. Not just looking at her, at 28 years, I believe, not any of the children is up to ten years and whatever punishment meted on her will deprive the children of motherly/parental care.

“If she is sentenced to a long term of imprisonment, it will have repercussion on those in the society because the children who did not participate on what had happened will suffer.

“Mild sentence will afford her the opportunity to take care of the children, while at the same time save federal government cost to take care of her while in prison,” he said.

Consequently, Justice Amobeda recalled that when he was in Kebbi State, he delivered what look like similar judgment and handed over the convict to the Emir of Kebbi and the accused was reformed. That was a Moslem community.

“At this instance, the Pastor will counsel, reform and rehabilitate the convict. I will like her to go for spiritual counselling, this is an opportunity for her to repent from her sin and become reformed person.

“The law says, after a plea of guilt by an accused, the court will enter summary judgment. She has saved the time of the court and tax payer resources,” the judge held.

Speaking with our reporter shortly after the judgement, the Pastor Victor Ovart of Charismatic Renewal Ministries, said he was in the court to watch the proceedings. “I came to court frequently to hear the proceedings. We have a department in the Church for prison ministries.

“Sometimes, when the inmates complete their sentences, we undertake to rehabilitate them through support with a view to bringing them back to the society. The power of God transformed these people.

“For this instant case, we will look at where she is leaving because environment do affect people, if possible, we relocate her to a safe place, pray for her and provide the needed skill for her. We have a group in the Church that handles this,” he stated.

Also speaking, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) legal counsel, Vembe Emmanuel said “When the accused was arraigned, she pleaded guilty and the Judge give summary judgement.

“However, before such sentence is done, the suspect has the liberty to plead for mercy and that was what happened at this instance case. Some senior lawyers pleaded on her behalf and the Judge considered their pleads and gave a very mild sentence of one month from the day she was arrested, invariably she was going to be released.

“I wouldn’t want to say whether I am satisfied or not about the judgement but one thing is clear, I have gotten my conviction and that is paramount to me. All hands must be on deck to ensure that we sanitize the society of dugs activities because at the end, all of us will go back to the society,” he stated.

Wike reacts to Tribunal’s judgment on his reelection as Rivers governor

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has reacted to the decision of the governorship Election Tribunal to dismiss the petition filed by African Action Congress (AAC) and its candidate, Biokpomabo Awara, seeking nullification of his (Wike’s) reelection on March 9, 2019.

Speaking at the Government House in Port-Harcourt on Saturday, Governor Wike said nobody contested against him in the election.

Recall that the tribunal, headed by Justice Kingsley Ojiako, dismissed Awara’s petition on Saturday in a four hours judgment it delivered on the matter.

It also dismissed a similar petition by the Action Democratic Party, ADP, and its 2019 governorship candidate, Victor Fingesi, seeking cancellation of same election.

Reacting to the Tribunal’s rulings, the Governor said: “It is so painful someone could say no election held in Rivers.

“Nobody ran the election against us. But for connections, how can anyone say he ran election against us in Rivers.

“I will never be distracted. I will do everything in the interest of Rivers. I will continue to work. Nothing will distract me”

Speaking also, the PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, rejoicing with Wike on the victory, said “justice has been served on Rivers people through the judgment”.

Crisis mars NUJ congress as journalists resist imposition of electoral committee [PHOTOS]

Congress of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State council held on Saturday ended in stalemate as some members of the union rejected the nomination of members of electoral committee for the state Council election.

DAILY POST reports that about 61 members attended the congress.

The state election is billed to take place in December this year.

Members of the proposed committee who were announced at the congress held at Dapo Aderogba hall NUJ Secretariat, Iyaganku Ibadan, included, Semiu Azeez (Chairman) Ridwan Fasasi (Secretary), Ola Ajayi (Member) Abdulrofih Adebayo (Member) and Nike Ajayi (Member).

However, some journalists numbering over 40 rejected the nomination of the Chairman of the committee, Azeez, Secretary, Fasasi and Ajayi.

They raised their opposing voices immediately the Chairman of the union, Adewumi Faniran read the names.

Those who opposed the nominations argued that Fasasi, a subordinate to Faniran at FRCN is also the Director-General of Faniran campaign, hence he is not qualified for the position.

They also rejected the nomination of Azeez, whom majority of the members present claimed does not have a medium where he works. The angry members said that they will not allow a non journalist to serve as Chairman of the electoral committee.

A member of the Correspondents Chapel and Oyo State Correspondent of THISDAY Newspapers, Mr. Kemi Olaitan, challenged the list and admonished the outgoing Chairman to live by his words in upholding the constitutional provision in the spirit of peace, justice and fairness.

Olaitan, who was later backed by other journalists, including Jeremiah Oke of Daily Trust, Adebayo Raji of Herald, SWAN Chairman, Niyi Alebiosu of Tribune; Lekan Shobowale of BCOS and a host of others, asked Faniran to step down nominations of Fasasi and the chairman of Correspondents’ chapel, Ola Ajayi of Vanguard, who they said would not be fair in discharging the duties expected of them “because of their partisanship and closeness to Faniran.”

However, the Chairman stuck to his gun, x-raying the qualities of the nominees as people who would conduct the election.

But Alebiosu counselled him to put the matter into motion and subsequent voting.

The Chairman at this stage began to reel out conditions for voting, calling for motions and this further polarised the congress as temper rose.

In counting those in favour of the committee to stand as constituted, 24 members voted in their support and sensing that the remaining members were in majority, he ruled that the committee had been adopted.

This angered the members when Raji protested again and the visibly enraged Chairman called him “a bastard” and not a member of the union.

This infuriated Raji and the entire hall erupted into chaos.

APC chieftains reveal why PDP should not appeal tribunal judgement

Chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State have urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to waste its time and resources appealing the tribunal judgement which upheld Governor Nasir El-rufai’s reelection.

They advised the leading opposition party to rather go and prepare for the 2023 general elections.

The APC chieftains made the call on Saturday in Igabi LGA of Kaduna state while celebrating Governor El-Rufai’s victory at the tribunal.

Speaking at the occasion, former House of Representatives member, Hon. Ibrahim Bello Rigachikun, said the PDP petition was thrown out of the tribunal both in Kaduna governorship and the presidential elections, because they could not prove their allegations of irregularities.

According to him, “in the court of law, if you don’t have any substance, there is no need to fight. So, the PDP don’t have a case, they should just go and start preparing for 2023, instead of wasting their time to appeal the tribunal judgement.”

Also speaking, House of Representatives aspirant in the 2015 general elections and convener of the event, Hajia Rabi Salisu, said they chose to celebrate because Governor El-Rufai had in 100 days started fulfilling his campaign promises.

“Our governor is a leading example because he is the first governor in this whole federation to start the implementation of the N30, 000 minimum wage, when others are still foot dragging. Even if it is this minimum wage alone, he is supposed to be celebrated nationwide not even Kaduna State alone,” she said.

Hajia Rabi called on the people of Kaduna State, including the opposition, to support the government of Governor El-Rufai to enable him deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.

Killings: Gov. Matawalle sends message to Zamfara people

Zamfara State Governor, Hon. Bello Muhammed Matawalle has reassured the people of Zamfara State and non-indigenes doing business in the state of their safety following the current killing of nine soldiers in Jangebe, near Anka local government area by the unrepentant armed bandits.

The Governor said that he had instructed the combined forces of the army, police and other security agencies to be watchful and intensify more efforts to prevent reoccurrence of the ugly incident.

He encouraged the people to always endeavor to report any suspicious movement of people to the security agencies in the state.

Governor Matawalle said that the target was to distract the focus of the state government from delivering the dividends of democracy for the people.

The governor re-emphasized that the resolve of his government was to ensure perfect security of lives and properties in the state.

“The fight against criminal elements would not be treated with a mere wave of the hand,” he assured.

“I am very sure that security is the responsibility of all and not the responsibility of the government alone,” he added.

He, however, appealed to the traditional leaders to ensure that their territories were under their watchful eyes so as to ensure perfect security of lives and properties in their areas.

EPL: Man Utd react to Pogba’s demand for £600,000-a-week contract

Manchester United have denied that Paul Pogba is making fresh wage demands, according to SportsMail.

United are angered at reports that Pogba is asking for £600,000-a-week to stay at Old Trafford.

The club fear the French midfielder is being scapegoated, for a miserable start to the season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Pogba, who was keen on joining Real Madrid last summer, has played only twice since August because of a recurring ankle problem and is a doubt for Sunday’s game at Newcastle.

A club source said: “Paul still has two years left on his current deal with an option of an extra year so there’s been no talks about a new contract and nothing from Paul saying he wants an increase in wages.

“He’s fully focused on getting 100 per cent fit again and helping the team.

“Anyone that says he’s been asking for £600,000-a-week is wrong and it’s a surprise to us when someone in the game like Karren Brady [West Ham vice-chairman] refers to it.”

Brady wrote in her weekend newspaper column, that United should sell Pogba if he’s demanding that sort of money.

Newcastle vs Man Utd: Solskjaer speaks on getting sacked as manager

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has urged the Glazer family not to sack him, because he’ll get it right at United.

Solskjaer heads to Newcastle today and despite the Red Devils’ worst start to a League season for 30 years, he insists he’s not panicking, and is hoping the Glazers don’t either.

“Do you know my career? It’s been loads of ups but some downs as well, both as a player and as a coach.

“At Molde and Cardiff I had tough times. I’ve been at that bottom end in the table. It’s not a nice feeling.

“If you get time to do what you are setting out to do, it’ll be fine. This is a period now with some fine lines going against us, but we’ll get there,” the Norwegian told the media ahead of the trip to St James.

Solskjaer will face the biggest crisis in his time as United manager, if his stars lose at struggling Newcastle.

“Sometimes you don’t get what you deserve in terms of results,” he said.

“Only once this season have we played a game that we didn’t deserve to get anything.

“I know that we haven’t started as well as we hoped for. But we have more points in the games we have played this season compared to the equivalent fixtures against those same clubs last year.

“We have two more points than in the same games last season. So it’s not all that bad.”

LaLiga: Chukwueze’s release clause to be increased to N24bn

Villarreal are set to offer Samuel Chukwueze a new deal, which will also see his release clause rise up to €60million (about N24bn), Marca reports.

The move is to ward off reported interest from Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

The Super Eagles winger’s current deal which runs up until 2023, includes a release clause of €40m (about N14bn).

Chukwueze broke into the Yellow Submarine first team last season and he has quickly established himself as a fans favourite at the El Madrigal.

He has featured in six of their seven LaLiga games so far this season, and he looks set to play a key role this season for Villarreal, alongside Santi Cazorla and Pau Torres.

EPL: Charlie Nicholas predicts Arsenal vs Bournemouth, Newcastle vs Man Utd

Charlie Nicholas has predicted that his former club Arsenal, will prove too strong for Bournemouth on Sunday.

He is also backing Newcastle to inflict more misery on Manchester United, according to the UK Metro.

Ikpeazu appoints Anyaso Anyaso as Director-General Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State

The Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the appointment of Mr. Anyaso Anyaso as the new Director-General of the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State (BCA),

Barrister Chris Ezem, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), in a terse statement on Saturday, said the appointment followed the redeployment of Sir Uchenna Dike to the office of the Head of Service for further deployment.

Anyaso until his appointment worked in the Radio Services Department of the BCA and was recently elected Chairman of the Abia State Chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The statement also quoted him as stating that the appointment takes immediate effect.

Jordan Ayew Praises Crystal Palace Fans After Hard Fought Victory Against West Ham

Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew has hailed Crystal Palace fans for their support against West Ham United.

The 28-year-old scored the winner in the 87th minute to snatch all three points for the Eagles.

The strike was initially ruled offside by the linesman after Ayew stabbed in from Martin Kelly’s header but the decision was overturned after a lengthy VAR review.

Sebastien Haller had given West Ham the lead when he swept home.

But Palace equalised through Patrick van Aanholt’s penalty before Ayew’s goal secured all three points.

After the important win at the London Stadium, the former Swansea City forward has heaped praises on the supporters f the club.

The win moved Roy Hodgson’s side into the top four of the Premier League while ending West Ham’s six-game unbeaten run.

Jordan has scored three goals in seven league games so far this season.

Andre Ayew Charges Swansea City Teammates To Fight On After Stoke City Defeat

Andre Ayew has called on his Swansea City teammates to keep on fighting despite suffering home defeat to Stoke City in the English Championship on Saturday.

The Swans took an early lead through Black Stars captain who fired home his effort under a minute into the first half.

The Potters would go on to equalise in the 22nd minute via old Swan, Sam Clucas, before substitute Scott Hogan scored the winner at the death to gift Nathan Jones’ side all three points and their first Championship win this season.
