Disgraced NFL star, Antonio Brown is set to file a record nine grievances against the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots in his attempt to recoup $61 million in salary guarantees he lost when he was fired amidst his rape accusations.
According to ESPN, Brown and the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) will file nine grievances and appeals, which is the most ever by a single player at one time. Brown’s demands include $29 million in salary guarantees that were voided by the Raiders before he was released in Oakland on September 7. He is also seeking his full $9 million salary bonus and $1 million in salary guarantees from the Patriots, among other demands.
The list of issues includes:
• Salary guarantees (Raiders) for $29 million
• Option year, 2020: (Patriots) for $20 million
• Signing bonus (Patriots) for $9 million
• Signing bonus (Raiders) for $9 million
• Salary guarantee (Patriots) for $1 million
• Unpaid Week 1 salary (Raiders) for $860,000
• Fine appeals (Raiders) for $215,000
• Unpaid Week 3 salary (Patriots) for $64,000
In addition to those eight, Schefter says a ninth one could come if the NFL ends up suspending Brown over the sexual assault and sexual misconduct allegations from two different women.
